8 days / 8 nights. Return home early morning March 27th. Fairbanks, Dinali and Wrangel national parks. Anchorage. Gold mine with train ride; train ride through a theme park; cruise on the bay with glaciers and wildlife; river cruise* on a paddle wheeler. Dog sledding.* Nenana. Iditarod Center. Wasilla. The glacier. Early bird special - $ 1,989 + air, if deposit is paid on or before January 23, 2022; otherwise - $ 2,089 + air. Rates are per person, double occupancy. Day 1. Saturday, March 19, 2022. Arrive at Anchorage Ted Stevens airport (ANC). Group meets in the Alaska Airlines luggage area at about 1:30 PM. If you arrive an hour or more later, you will receive the excursion program of the first day on the last day of the tour. Transfer from the airport to the hotel is included. First glance at the city. Downtown Walking Tour. Film about Alaska**. 2 nights at Anchorage.
Day 2. Anchorage - Whittier - Prince William Sound - Anchorage.
The magnificent scenery along the highway to Whittier, which runs between the fjord and the foothills of the Chugach Mountains, makes this ride a wonderful attraction. Stops at viewpoints and at the State Wildlife Sanctuary. To get to Whittier we pass through the 3-mi tunnel, the longest on the North American highways. A 4.5-hour cruise on a comfortable boat on the calm waters of Prince William Sound, a trip with a breathtaking sight of many glaciers and possibly marine animals - whales, seals, sea otters, and birds. Lunch on board (buffet, includes fresh salmon caught right there in the pristine Alaskan waters and free-range beef).
Day 3. Anchorage - Denali. Today we take a scenic road to the north, through dense forests, many rivers, lakes; get the opportunity (in clear weather) to see Mt. Denali. A visit to Iditarod Headquarters, the place to learn the history of the famous sled dogs race. Ride* dog sleds dogs (in a four-wheeled cart.). Arrival at Denali. In the evening experience songs, dances and gourmet food at the Denali Dinner Theater.* Our hotel is located in the forested area, on the river bank. Your balcony offers a fantastic view of the river and mountains covered with dense forest. 2 nights at Denali.
Day 4. Denali. Optional, for an additional fee - a tour* on a shuttle in a huge park with an area 20% larger than the state of Massachusetts. You will experience genuine untouched wilderness, see the Alaska mountain range up close and, on a clear day, its highest peak and highest peak in North America, Mt. Denali. We will drive through the zones of taiga and tundra. And you will surely meet wild animals: grizzly bears, caribou, goats with snow-white fur, if you are lucky - also the wolves, foxes, etc. This trip will please wildlife lovers.
Day 5. Denali - Fairbanks. The scenic road to the north offers great views. Photo stops. Stop in a typical Alaskan village. In memory of Dr. Joseph Shainsky: wine*** and cheese reception in a picturesque park on the river bank. Fairbanks: visit to the gold mine: tour by train on the narrow gauge railway; panning gold. First view of the city. A hotel in the center, in the best downtown location, on the river bank.

Day 6. Fairbanks. Cruise* on the Chena and Tanana rivers on the paddle steamer Discovery with views of the sled dog training school, Indian fishing camp and check-in at Athabascan Village. Visit to Pioneer Park - Alaska's historic theme park; a ride on park's railroad. Continue exploring the city, including the Alaska Range overlook on the scenic University of Alaska grounds.
From this place, on a clear day, the entire northern side of the Alaska mountain range with the Three Sisters and Denali peaks are clearly visible.
Day 7. Fairbanks - Copper River Center. The road on the Richardson Highway to the south reveals amazing landscapes - wide valleys, lakes and taiga in the Alaska Range, as well as views of the Trans-Alaskan oil pipeline. Stops in picturesque places and the North Pole village. Arrive at Copper River Center. Our hotel is located in the beautiful natural setting. 1 night - Copper River Center.
Day 8. March 26, 2022. Copper River Center - Wrangell-St. Elias National Park - Anchorage.
Visit to Wrangell - St. Elias National Park. Movie. Drive the Glenn Highway through Palmer and Matanuska Valley, where giant cabbage grows in nearly 24-hour summer sunshine. Visit to the largest national park in the country, Wrangell Park - St. Elias. Road through Tahnita Pass with magnificent views of the river and the Matanuska glacier. In the afternoon, arrive at Anchorage. Free time to enjoy the city center, shopping and visiting museums. Departure home after 6 PM.
